Ladder Inspection

At ProCheck we inspect your ladders in accordance with current guidelines and provide tagging.
All Ladders must have scheduled inspection and labelling according to the Safety, Health and Welfare Act 2007
We label each ladder with the date tested and the next due date.
A report is provided along with a test certificate of completion. Also, if required, we can supply a register for your records.
We also schedule a reminder for the next test date, giving you peace of mind that one more task is already taken care of.

Why Do I Need a Ladder Inspection?

Legal Requirement / Compliance


Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, employers in Ireland must ensure that all work equipment — including ladders — is suitable, properly maintained, and inspected at regular intervals by a competent person. Regulation 119 specifically addresses equipment used for working at height, requiring it to be checked and certified to ensure safety.A GA3 certificate confirms that a ladder has been formally inspected and deemed safe for use in accordance with Irish safety standards. Holding a valid GA3 certificate demonstrates compliance with both the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act and the relevant Irish regulations, providing a safer workplace.
